The Directorate of Operations is exploring the possibility of hiring a
number of our OSS Review Team members during FY 1983. The individuals
involved have shown more interest in this offer than the one received from
the National Archives and Records Service because of the working conditions
and the better contract pay.
Records Management Division
An RMD representative attended the meeting of te Intelligence Handling. e
Committee Data Standards Panel where the requirement le of the
system for open source serial titles was discussed. One examp
problem was presented by a representative of the Foreign Technology DivisionDepartment of Air Force, which has about five million. records in its proposed
community information retrieval system. Solutions to this problem will have
a definite bearing on the information handling program in the Agency.
