The students in this class are spread evenly among the Agency's 4irec orates. Per our STAT agreement, the honorarium will bewith an additional $10 for cab transportation to our building. We have provisionally entitled your talk "The World Economy: Threat to Industrial Democracies." We would appreciate it if in the course of your talk you would establish the link between the exposure of American banks in the third world and the threat to U.S. national security if third world countries default on their debts. Also, there is interest and a need among many of our Trainees for a definition of the role of the International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the third world. Your presentation is scheduled for Friday, 27 September 1985, from 1015 - 1200 in Room 236 Chamber of Commerce Building.
