MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Training and Education
FROM : Director, DCI/DDCI Executive Staff
SUBJECT : Interdirectorate Seminar
1. The DCI and DDCI found last night's session both interesting and
useful. We have discussed it and I have been asked to recommend to you
that another of these be scheduled in about six months--perhaps just
after the first of the year.
2. Next time, I think they would be interested in having less time
devoted to formal presentations and more to the give and take of discussion.
You might, for example, have a representative of each of the directorates
take not more than five minutes to bring up matters that are "bugging" them
and their colleagues. This could serve as the springboard for discussion.
3. I believe the evening was a success and think that such informal
gatherings provide valuable insights to all levels of participants.
