The fourth "cargoship," the TIORIZONZ, aJei trial run from 16 to 21 April. It left Want* from point 17 of sketch 3. After the trial run it moored at the Stecznie Gdynska Im. Kemeny Paryskiej in Gdynia at point 5 of sketch 1 next to a floating drydock in which wes a "fishing research ship" described in paragraph Wbelow. Two other ehipo of the eargoship type lay in the writer at point 6 of sketch 1. All three ship e had a superstructure around, which there ens wooden scaffolding; see sketch 2. The purpose of the eargeehip., of which the ITORIZONT 13: one, is still unclear. Vb demagnetizieg inntallation was obeerved in e. 4. The fifth cargoship, at present moored in Gdansk at point 19 of sketch 3, still has no name. On 26 April the sixth cargoship is to be launched. 5. A Polish Ship technizian said that the map room and the room in which the central control on these ships is housed can be shat and mode airtight. This airtight system is intended to permit sailing in areas where there is radio- activity. . The map room is built againet the bridge. Communication between the bridge and the map room is through a watertight door. The map room has only windows which look out to the side. In this room there is a square object like a television net on the top of which there Is a round screen about 30 centimeters in diameter. By the control knobs there is a text in Passim for this apparatus. It is possible to run the engine room from the central control room. The rudders can be operated by telephone from this room. The doors to the engine room can be closed off watertight. 8. The object on the bo v of these boats is really a light buoy. During a trial run a similar buoy was sot out and later taken on board. 9. In the drydock next to the MR/7=TO mooring in Gdynia at point 5 as described in paraGraph 1 vas a ship which, judgingrfrom its screw installation, must belong to the co-called planned "fishing research ships." they are really naval patrol vessels. This chip, in the drydook at point 41 was still unpainted nnd had no superstructure as yet. It had a double prop installation with =Oust:Able screws. The 26-3, mite unknown, had a trial run from 11 to 16 April. . 12. The last ship of the 11-15 riea built for the Sovieta is the B-15-14* 13. The rurms, a ship of the P-15 series, sailed from October 1962 to mid-March for Nigeria pith a Nigerian crew of /5. The shin berthed in 14,3os. They fished in the vicinity of Nigeria with much success. In one haul they are said to have caught 20 tons of fish. The ship was in Nigeria to develop now sales area for this typo of ship.
