train personnel from the Office of Technical Services in stress
screening, vibration, and shock testing. The Directorate of Science
and Technology/Office of Technical Services/Equipment Suitability

Division/Electronics Branch, has requested Procurement Division,
Office of Logistics, to negotiate a contract
to meet this requirement. Per regulations, coordination
with the Office of Training and Education, Assistant Director of
Training for Curriculum was sought prior to the initiation of any
action. Upon approval, Procurement Division awarded a contract to

The seminar is scheduled for 27, 28, and 29 October
g. An annual service contract for typists and wordprocessors to
produce the DAILY REPORTS was negotiated with Kelly Services
Incorporated on behalf of the Foreign Broadcast Information Service.
This sole source action in the amount of $320,000 will sustain the

modernization program calls for full automation with on-line input to
the Printing and Photography Facilities and it is expected that the
need for this service will diminish.

with members of the Office of Information Technology, Resource
Acquisition and Management Staff to discuss planning and processing of

planning of the Office level Systems Integration Request for Proposal
for the Office of Information Technology. This upcoming competitive

request for procurement from OIR/ISD/DSB for the procurement (sole
source) of a Japanese Data Base Update and software for the Economist
Workstation from Data Resources, Inc. The above services include
,1 economic consulting, subscriptions to analytical publications, and

provides access to key international and industry data of man

requirement will be satisfied fully by Data Resources, Inc. of
Washington, D. C. at a negotiated Firm Fixed Price of $398,000.
1. Procurement Division, Office of Logistics, on behalf of the
Office of Information and Technology (OIT) issued Modification Number
25X1 Two (2) to Contract with Integrated Software Systems
Corporation (ISSCO) for the purpose of renewing the site license for
f~ ISSCO's DISSPLA and TELL-A-GRAPH graphics software. This software is
I,d compatible with OIT's existing programs and data files and has the
unique capability of running on a variety of graphics devices without
the need to change the user written software. The amount of this
modification is $250,000, bringing total contract value to a new total
of $593,748. Cost savings in FY87 resulting from acquiring the site
license versus obtaining individual software licenses is $209,432 over
GSA purchase and maintenance and $860,408 over GSA lease and

M. In support of the Intelligence Information System Group,
Office of Information Technology, the Procurement Division, OL,
exercised an option in a contract with Infodata Systems, Inc. for
Fiscal Year 87 labor hour rates. This modification, in the amount of
$1,000,000, allows for the continuation of the efforts being performed
by Infodata in the augmentation and enhancement of their INQUIRE
software in support nalyst's File Environment
(SAFE) project.
