According to Mahn TUN YIN, a Karen member of the Burmese Parliament who
recently returned from the Peiping Peace Conference, a cable has been
received from the chief of the Burmese delegation to the Vienna Peace
Conference stating that the delegation has arrived in Vienna. Saw PO THEIN
and two other delegates who had been at the Peiping Conference traveled
overland with a three day stopover in Moser and joined the other delegates
in Vienna.

uring the Peiping Conference, Saw PO THEIN9 Bb LA YAUNG, and Ko HLA WIN were
selected to attend the Vienna Peace Conference. They planned to apply to
U HLA MAUNG9 Burmese Ambassador to Peiping., for visas to travel to Vienna
from Peiping via Moscow. Upon his return to Rangoon from Peiping. Thakin
KODAW HMAINGe leader of the Burmese delegation, reported that U HLA MAUNG
had refused to validate Saw PO THEINns passport to travel to Moscow and Vienna
from Peiping.
