Dear Judge Webster,
Ex2duhIve R2gls#ry
L88-3264X
Senator David Boren will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of
Fame on November 12, 1988, and will be presented for induction by
Senator Sam Nunn of Georgia. Induction into the Hall of Fame is a
special honor which has been awarded to very few Oklahomans over the
years. The ceremonies are rebroadcast on statewide television. As
table hosts for Senator Boren, we have the privilege of inviting you to
attend the Hall of Fame Banquet and be seated in his section. We know
that it would mean a great deal to Senator Boren to be able to share
the evening with special friends like you. The banquet will be held in
the Myriad Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. Dress for
the occasion will be black-tie. Doors to the banquet hall will open at
6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served promptly.
All of those attending the banquet will be invited to attend the
after-party which takes place in the Great Hall of the Myriad
immediately following the banquet. There you will have the opportunity
to personally congratulate Senator Boren and the other honorees and to
meet Senator Nunn and the other persons presenting the inductees.
A brochure on the banquet, containing an order form for _
reservations, is enclosed for your convenience in ordering tickets. The
size of the section reserved for Senator Boren is limited and
reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The
demand for reservations is great each year, and we strongly recommend
that you make your reservations as early as possible.
We know that you share our appreciation for Senator Boren's
public service and we sincerely hope you will be able to join us on this
meaningful occasion.
Sincerely,
