2. REMARKS: THE DIMENSIONS OF THE MAIN STRUCTURE OF THIS BUNKER
IT HAS BEEN DESIGNATED A NEW TYPE BECAUSE OF THE PLACEMENT OF
THE SECONDARY ENTRANCE AND THE MODIFIED CENTER STORAGE BAY. THE
DELTA III BUNKER, UNLIKE THE DELTA AND DELTA II BUNKERS, HAS THE
SECONDARY ENTRANCE STRUCTURE AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE MAIN
STRUCTURE; AND THE CENTER, LONG BAY HAS A SECOND FLOOR RATHER
THAN BEING OPEN FROM THE FOUNDATION SLAB TO THE ROOF. THIS
SECOND FLOOR INDICATES THAT THE PROBABLE WEAPONS
CHECKOUT/MAINTENANCE FUNCTION OF THAT BAY HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
AND THE STORAGE CAPACITY OF THE BUNKER HAS BEEN INCREASED BY UP
TO ONE THIRD. (SWN)
THIS DELTA III BUNKER IS IN THE MID-STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION AND IS
THE SECOND BUNKER TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT'THIS SITE. BUNKER 1,
(NOT SHOWN ON GRAPHIC) WHICH IS 0.5 NM SOUTHWEST AND IS
EXTERNALLY COMPLETE AND EARTH-COVERED, CAN NOW BE CONFIRr4ED AS A
DELTA III TYPE. AN EXCAVATION FOR A THIRD 25X1
