SIGNIFICANCE: TWO PONTON BRIDGES AND THREE PIPELINES ON FLOTATION SUPPORTS HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED ACROSS THE SUEZ CANAL IN EGYPTIAN HELD TERRITORY 2. LOCATION: THE CANAL CROSSINGS WERE IN EGYPTIAN HELD AREAS NORTH OF ISMAILIA. 3. MISSION READOUT: THE NORTHERN MOST PONTON BRIDGE AT 30-49-10N 032-19-06E WAS AN EGYPTIAN UNIFLOTE BRIDGE CROSSING THE CANAL 14 NAUTICAL MILES (NM) NORTH OF ISMAILIA. ONE EMPTY CARGO TRUCK WAS ON THE BRIDGE HEADING EAST. ONE TRUCK, ONE AT-T (ARTILLERY TRACKED PRIME MOVER), 10 CARGO TRUCKS AND FOUR JEEPS WERE NEAR THE EASTERN END OF THE BRIDGE. NINE TRUCKS, ONE BULLDOZER AND EIGHT JEEPS WERE NEAR THE WESTERN END OF THE BRIDGE. (NOT ALL VEHICLES ARE SHOWN ON GRAPHIC). TWO FLOATING PIPELINES CROSSED THE CANAL IN THIS AREA, ONE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE PONTON BRIDGE. THERE WERE TRUCKS AND A TRAILER ON THE EAST BANK NEAR THIS PIPELINE. THE SECOND EGYPTIAN BRIDGE AT 30-40-50N 031-20-30E WAS A PMP-TYPE PONTON BRIDGE CROSSING THE CANAL 6.5 NM NORTH OF ISMAILIA. A TOTAL OF FIVE TRUCKS WERE ON THE APPROACHES TO THE BRIDGE. ONE PIPELINE CROSSED THE CANAL JUST NORTH OF THIS PMP PONTON BRIDGE.
