ARGENTINA 1. (S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: BOMBERS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED TO THIS AIRFIELD IN SOUTHERN ARGENTINA. 2. (S/D) REMARKS: FIVE CANBERRA WERE PARKED AT THE 25X1 WESTERN SUPPORT AREA AT TRELEW ALMIRANTE ZAR AIRFIELD. FOUR OF THE CANBERRA WERE IN REVETMENTS AND ONE WAS PARKED ON A TAXIWAY. UNIDENTIFIED SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES WERE IN THE AREA OF ONE OF THE CANBERRA. BOMBER AIRCRAFT ARE NOT NORMALLY DEPLOYED AT THIS AIRFIELD WHICH USUALLY SUPPORTS A NAVAL AVIATION SPECIAL PURPOSE SQUADRON. 3.
