ARRIVED AT THIS FACILITY BETWEEN THE 25X1
FIRST FRIGATE WAS MODIFTFn N AUGUST T V T NAVAL BASE
AND SHIPYARD WHERE SHE WAS FITTED WITH FOUR 25X1
AFT-FIRING SS-N-2C (STYX) ANTISHIP CRUISE MISSILE LAUNCHERS.
(SWN) KONI FF'S ARE CONSTRUCTED FOR EXPORT AT ZELENODOLSK
SHIPYARD 340 IN THE SOVIET UNION. UNITS ARE 25X1
CURRENTLY IN SERVICE WITH ALGERIA, CUBA AND 25X1
YUGOSLAVIA.
