(TSR) Three remote sites containing single-bay, sliding-roof garages have been newly identified on n an area approximately 14 to 17 nautical miles (nm) south of the Rechitsa Probable Mobile IRBM Base Figures 1 and 2), USSR. The sites are approximately 10 nm apart in heavily wooded areas at 52-II-29N 030-07-07I-:1 52-06-55N 030-14-10E, and 52-08-54N 030-23-46E. Each site consists of three single-bay, sliding- roof garages and associated buildings surrounded by two solid perimeter security fences. At each site, one of' the single-bay garages was still under construction, and the sliding-roof garage components seen at two of the sites confirmed that these are the same type garages as those at deployed mobile bases.The layout of these sites is similar to that previously reported at Novaya Mezinovka Missile Support Rear Depot tnd at the newly identified Drovyanaya SS-20 Remote Site I construction at sites 2 and 3 was in a very early stage. The perimeter fences had been erected, and scrapings for garage foundations were seen. Construc- tion of the third site had not begun. (S) Comments and queries regarding this report are welcome.
