(TSR) A Petva-ll light frigate (FFL) was modified at Sevastopol Shipyard Sevmorzavod 497 USSR, between The weapons modification is on the how of the FFL, just forward of the breakwater. The modification appears to be unidentified triple-tube mounts. When seen on all imagery of the installation, the mounts have been covered by (Figure I), a On the best available imagery 2. (S/D) The purpose of the modification has not been determined, although it is probably antisubmarine warfare related.
