TRANSSHIPMENT AREA EAST OF TARTUS PORT FACILITIES.
2. (S/D) REMARKS:I (NINE SA-3 SURFACE-TO-AIR.
MISSILE LAUNCHERS, ELEMENTS OF THREE LOW BLOW RADAR SETS, EIGHT
BM-21 MULTIPLE ROCKET LAUNCHERS, FOURTEEN 122MM HOWITZER D-30,
TWO PROBABLE 100MM ANTIAIRCRAFT GUNS, FOUR PROBABLE 76MM FIELD
GUNS, FOUR 37MM ANTIAIRCRAFT GUNS, AND TEN BTR-152 ARMORED
PERSONNEL CARRIERS HAVE ARRIVED. A SOVIET LENTNSKTY
AND MAY HAVE DELIVERED THE ARMS; HOWEVER, NO MILITARY EQUIPMENT
IS DISCERNIBLE ON OR NEAR THE VESSEL.
