1. SIGNIFICANCE: SS-21 TRAINING CONTINUES AT THIS FACILITY. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: THE TRAINING INVOLVES ONE SS-21 RESUPPLY VEHICLE WITH
AN SS-21 MISSILE SUSPENDED FROM AN ONBOARD CRANE, A SECOND
SS-21 RESUPPLY VEHICLE, AND ONE SS-21 TRANSPORTER-ERECTOR-
LAUNCHER (TEL). APPROXIMATELY 16 PERSONNEL ARE NEARBY. TWO
SS-21 TEL/RESUPPLY VEHICLES ARE IN OTHER AREAS OF THE
FACILITY. SIMILAR TRAINING WAS SEEN (SWN) 25X1
AL QUTAYFAH SUPPORTS TACTICAL SSM UNITS AND IS IMMEDIATELY
NORTHEAST OF DAMASCUS. (SWN)
