Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/08/17 :CIA-RDP78T05698A000300010010-3 Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/08/17: CIA-RDP78T05698A000300010010-3 National op Photographic Interpretation Center IMAGERY INFORMATION REPORT PROBABLE EXOCET MISSILE TEST/MAINTENANCE FACILITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION, PERU A probable EXOCET antiship Missile test/maintenance facility under construction was seen at Callao, Peru, It was on the northern shore of Rio Rimac, approximatel 1 200 meters northeast of Callao Naval Base and Shipyard and approxi- maraly ~_7nn meters southwest of Jorge Chavez International Airfield The secured facility consists of two groups of five bunkered storage buildings and blast walls. The facility also consists of a probable operations building, a drive-in bunkered test building with an exhaust deflector, a guardhouse, two probable storage buildings, and three con- struction support buildings.
