Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/08/17: CIA-RDP78T05698A000300010032-9 National Photographic Interpretation Center IMAGERY INFORMATION REPORT NEW PROBABLE MISSILE SHIPPING CONTAINERS AT BAZARNYY SYZGAN PROBABLE ASM/AAM STORAGE DEPOT, USSR Six new probable missile shipping containers were identified for the first time at Bazarnyy Syzgan Probable ASM/AAM Storage Depot, USSR, on These new probable missile shipping con- tainers ere 'lroad transfer point at the storage depot. Each container has a slightly peaked roof and is tapered for approximately two-thirds of its length. These containers are similar in size and appearance to the missile shippin container identified at Ivankovskiy Guided Missile Plant in September These probable missile shipping containers may be for a new missile system or a modified shipping container for the AS-9 ASM. The overall count of AS-9 shipping containers at the Bazarnyy depot has decreased from 369 in October 1975 to approximately 120 in March 1977.
