INTRODUCTION
The Index to Photographic Exploitation Products (PEP) is a guide to the contents of
reports and memoranda produced by means of imagery exploitation. The index is ex-
tracted from the Exploitation Products File (EPF) of the National Base of Image-Derived
Information (NBIDI). Reports are added to the EPF as they are received by the National
Photographic Interpretation Center (NPIC). The index includes references to imagery
exploitation reports produced by various components of the Army, Navy, Air Force,
Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and foreign governments, as
well as those produced by NPIC. At the request of COMIREX, this index is compiled
monthly, then cumulated annually by NPIC for the use of properly cleared components of
NFIB member organizations.
The EPF is also available directly to users on-line by means of the Community On-
Line Intelligence System (COINS). Assistance is available to COINS users from the
COINS Project Management Office:

the EPF to answer requests which cannot be easily satisfied from the PEP.

fiche and/or hard copy originals of documents should be channeled through appropriate
organizations:
