The Honorable W. F. Raborn, Jr.
Director

Washington, D. C. 20505
I should like to confirm the results of recent conversations with
your staff by representatives of the Air War College and welcome
your nomination of a speaker on the subject, "The Chinese Communist
Scientific and Technological Potential."
This presentation is scheduled for 0830 hours on Wednesday, 13 April.
The College has planned two fifty minute lecture periods followed
by one fifty-minute question period. However, this arrangement can
be modified as necessary. The attached draft instruction circular
will show the relationship of the lecture to the course and will
provide a suggested scope for this period of instruction.
Since we like to include biographical sketches of our distinguished
lecturers in the instruction circular, we would appreciate your
designated speaker completing and returning the attached form.
The present Air War College class consists of four Royal Air Force
and one Royal Canadian Air Force officers. All of these students
have a Top Secret clearance from their own governments. However,
these officers can be excluded from the presentation if the classi-
fication warrants.
Well in advance of the date of the lecture, a member of the Air
War College staff will contact the speaker concerning transportation
arrangements.
Thank you for your continuing support.
