combined railroad and road bridse on the -.)resden-OosAG-Elater-
worda lino. The bridce was fornerly double track ia now
single tra6k. The hichuay section is of local laporance.
comaent. This is a steel bridae with nine and, tow
^ Iir8Taers aro. ten spans, three arc each 62 faeterA
and seven are oach 21 meters long, The navigable channel of
the river is between piers 5 and 6. 'j4.1e river clearance is
8 motors at mean water level. The highway- section or the
bridge was severely dated in 19415. The span betwean piers
4 and 5 was completely. demolished, while half of the adjacent
span was destroyed. It is doubtful that this section will be
rebuilt in the foreseeable future. The railroad section was
damaged in the span between piers. 6 and 7,_but the (lamage was
repaired in a makeshift fashion in 1946 _./The lo -d capacity of
LL'his railroad bridGe is now hi enouGh to carry _4 type freight
rains which have an axle pressure of 10 tons.). Th oro is no
