The following is a report' on actions taken or underway on Cambodia
through 6:00 p.m. June 23.

-- An additional shipment of captured. Communist weapons was
scheduled for delivery to Phnom 'Penh on June 23, and was to include
machine guns and ammunition for AK-47's and 82mm mortars.
Military Operations: No significant action.
-- Charge Rives recommends that 15 communicators be sent to
Embassy Phnom Penh in order to support future Mission efforts. He
has also requested use of a defense attache aircraft so that Mission
personnel may better assess the situation in Cambodia.
Diplomatic: The UNESCO representative has arrived in Phnom Penh
to investigate the problem of protecting Cambodian cultural monuments.
