Prime Minister Tanaka's Visit to the US.
Forwarded a schedule proposal recommending that the President receive
Japanese Prime Minister Tanaka for a two-day official visit, to reaffirm
US alliance ties with Japan and to discuss common problems. Approved a
message to Ambassador Ingersoll informing him that announcement of the

Approved the removal of Andorra from the Apollo 17 Moon Rock gift list due
to the current dispute between Andorra's co-sovereigns over control of its

Letters to Presidents' Marcos and Suharto on Asian Development Bank.
Recommended that the President sign replies-to letters from Philippine
President Marcos and Indonesian President Suharto urging support for a
new Special Fund of the Asian Development Bank. The replies express
support for legislation to permit the US to contribute $100 million for

Authorized Secretary Rogers to present the Colorado River salinity
proposal to President Echeverria during his visit to Mexico and approved

The reply restates the US commitment to help move Arab-Israeli dispute
