Body of U.S. Vice-Consul Definitely Identified in Mexico
U.S. and Mexican officials have definitely identified the
body found near Hermosillo on 8 July as that of kidnapped U.S.
Vice-Consul John Patterson. (See the 10 July issue, page 7.)
The investigation of this crime by Mexican authorities, sup-
ported by the U.S. government, is continuing. (UNCLASSIFIED)
