The i etrovka -slant in Dnepropetrovsk (34059 TE/48028tN) ,
Ukrainian 63R, is in the western part of the tovwn, south of
the road to ;Dneprodzerzhinsk, and 6-5E of the _iolotov Plant.

The plaht covers an area of about 450 x 2,1150 meters. The
blast furnaces and the ielsobalka llant were seriously damaged
during the ward ooviets stated that the of"ear plant parts suf-
fered only slight dan.a;es. Two blast furnaoea.were again in
operation and three additional blast furnaces were under con-

a.. ' he plant layout of the Petrovka Fla t ., as shown by attached
sketch, corresponds in its essential parts ,i th previous in-
formation,
b, tae retort confirms that the lielsobalka nollini ..ill is
cart of the Petrovka Plant. The rolling mill nresu-:iably is
comprised of the buildings ido 5 through 7 of the nnex, In
the eor1?uent of the last report on the Petrovka slant the as-
s urn tion was advanced that the two plants be lonL' to?-ether.
.
It now seer-is rossible that the two plants and the -.solotov
Plant, located north. of the road, form one plant, the large
Potrovski iron plant
d. The arrow on the sketch, indioatinr the lk; km distance to
the Lenin i'lant , seems to be a proof that some entries on
the German military Ceo, raphioal T(xvn :ap of .ineprope trovsk,
issue 1941, were false. contradicting the statements of various
other sources, the Lenin Plant is entered on the .:ilitary Geo--
graphical '. ovrn yap Ji,io 10 on the site of the Aolotov Plant.
i1'rom this, presumably a wrong entry, it was previously concluded
that at least the ..i:olotov Plant was a reconstructed part of the
former Lenin Plant.
.d. further information is required to obtain final clarification
on this grout, of related plants in the west Hart of Dnepropetrovsk.
