towed a 122 ,? artillery piece and carried eight soldiers. Two
artillery pieces, apparently heavy AT guns, were emplacod on the
northern. and southern edge of a patch of woods, about 2 km north-
west of `dross-Luebars, about 200 meters west of the road which
diverges from the railroad line. The gun crews were quartered in
tents. A telephone line ran from the woods toward Alton,;rabo ,
