About I September an important Burmese Carnrurist arrived secretly in
Kengtung from Kus .ng via Ch le1i ( 100-501 21-58), Fohai ( IM-26;
21-58), sM i nchiao (i00-u; 22-M) and in early September conferred
with other Burmese Comamist leaders at Tang Pal (, ') in the Kengtung
area. lb said he obtained from high-ranking Chinese C~-unist offies
in Yunnan information that an international ccemun .st are r (sic) is to
coordinate with Chinese Cammnist troops in Yunnan in an attack on
North Burma when war bfeaka out in Southeast Asia
