sector of Habelschwcrdt (P 51/11 32), about 500 rasters north of the

fantry unit.. had been stationed there since 1946. It was corriaaaded by a

5. No Soviet soldiers vier a seen in I1abolsch-c rdt after 1947.,
6.. in -August 1950, a Polish border guard unit of about 120 men was
quartered in a four-story brick building, about 20x30 motors, in the
southern sector of Seitenberg (P 51/14' 42)., on the east side of the road
leading to Ileudorf (P 51/H L.2), opposite the athletic ground. The
superior headquarters of this unit Baas located in atz (P 5111134)). (3)
1. The officers and some of the L wore round a jrvice caps with a red ribbon.
The old square Polish cap was also seen.
8. The unit was armed with Polish rifles, submachine guns with both drum
and clip magazines, and some light machine guns. It was equipped with
four or five motor vehicles and some horse-dram vehicles.
