between Colombia, United States and other parts of the world.

recently convened at Bogota, All America Cables
and Radio, Inc., with its sister company Mackay
Radio, established a direct radio teleprinter circuit
between the State Department in Washington, D. C.
and the American Embassy in Bogota, and kept
this circuit in operation to handle important gov-
ernment messages and press dispatches which in-
formed the world of stirring events that occurred
