#66: This will be a CENTER LANE interview for 1000 hours
24 January 1984. Relax and concentrate. Relax and
focus your attention on the structure in the
photograph I've shown you. Focus on the Spring of
1984 and describe your perceptions to me.
#01: ............. Ah...I get an etched pattern,
engraving, something that's not very thick,
something very fine layers that are chemically
bonded and there's an etched pattern. Let me work
on that a minute. ....... It's ah ..... etched
patterns on these flat surfaces are chemically
etched..... that's pieces of this stuff.
.......Term clips, clipping .... ah...... plastic,
cellulose,.... some kind of chemically layered
plastic is bonded, etched and there's pieces of it,
but I don't...I don't perceive a whole piece. ...
#66: Okay, move on to other things.
#01: Okay, let me look at something. .......... See lots
of paper,... apparently there's very little carbon
NOT ~'T S..., 2, TCid !:TAT10NALS

paper, it's just paper, (mumble) paper.
....Wrappers, cellophane wrappers,... getting a lot
of plastic back in the (mumble). .......... All the
switches, it's not fastened to anything. .........
rounded, something rounded,.. smooth and flat, not
unlike a coin size object, two or three of those
there. ..... Just look like punch outs, pieces of
metal. .........Trying to span some time as well
(mumble).
#66: Go across time and look for items of interest.
#01: .................The most important thing I get is
those bits of plastic, chopped up. They're very
thin and there's like 6 or 7 layers .... it's not so
much layering as it is the depth to which they're
etched. There's some etching that's very shallow
and other etchings that's very deep. And there's a
color change in the plastic.
#66: Okay.
#01: Keep wanting to put other things in there, but it's
overlay, like ah....it's not input, it's output.
........I think it's the bits of cellophane or
whatever it is, cellulose, it's lightly and deeply
etched in something, not much of it, but it's there.

#66: What do you mean by cellulose?
#01: ....One minute I get images of like flakes, you
know, ...flakes ah.....little chopped angular
pieces and then the next one that I see sheets,
sheets of this plastic, but they're not large,
they're small.
#66: Okay.
#01: They're like in rows, rows of them. ........... Let
me look one time in the storage area.
#66: All right, I will wait.
#01: ...........................That's all I get.
Getting some input, some garbage, bits of this and
that .............
#66: Okay. Nothing further.
#01: No.
#66: Okay, fine.
