Thirty-three confirmed, three probable, and four possible Type IIIF launch sites were newly identified in the USSR on KEYHOLE photography of This brings the total25X1 D E of IIIF sites identified in the USSR to date to 43 confirmed, three probable, and four possible. 2. Of the latest sites identified, 28 confirmed, two probable, and one possible are at the Pervomaysk SSM Complex; two confirmed Type IIIF sites were identified and a probable site confirmed at the Derazhnya SSM Complex; a confirmed Type IIIF site was newly identified at the Dombarovskiy ICBM Complex; a previously identified suspect site (designated 59) was confirmed at the Imeni Gastello ICBM Complex; a probable IILF site (designated 57) was identified at the Zhangiz-Tobe ICBM Complex; and three possible Type IIIF sites were identified at the Kartaly ICBM Complex., 3. Three of the 28 confirmed IIIF launch sites at Pervomaysk are possibly control sites. The three are centrally located among other new sites and have some 20 support buildings each, while other sites have only one or two support buildings. The total number of launch sites that will be grouped around these possible control sites cannot be determined from this mission. 4. Launch site 66 at Pervomaysk (Figure 1), one of the three possible control sites, is one of the most advanced of the new sites. There is a long paved area on one side of the silo and an equipment turn-around on the access road outside of the security fence. The equipment turn-around is similar to that observed at most of the Type IIID launch sites except for its location outside of the fence. The stage of construction at site 66 is comparable to that at launch site R4 at the Tyuratam Missile Test Center. Launch site R4, however, does not have the turn-around on the access road. however, survey marks were present on at two sites. 7.
