REFERENCE POINT:
Leningrad RR Station and Yards, Varshavkiy,
59-53-53N 30-18-40E.
LOCATION:
22 nm east of reference point.
FUNCTION:
A site deployed for the defense of Leningrad.
SITE STATUS:
Possibly complete and operational.
REMARKS :
This is the first known photographic coverage of an SA.-2 SA.M site
near Leningrad.
Although the single small-format aerial photograph is of extremely
poor quality, service roads are visible which indicate that the site
has six launch revetments and one large guidance revetment.
The site is situated on level terrain in a generally cleared area.
