The series is being coordinat@d, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is-being performed by the NPIC Aotographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC)0and the Production Center 11`'Ic; (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the Production Center 1Pic.0 In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed 'both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. Lvov Army Barracks South -Central;)at 49-49N 24-DIE, (BE AL No-r3 COMOR is annotated as Area I in Figure tains nine barracks, three administration build- ings/barracks, 21 storage buildings, eight support buildings, .10 motor vehicle storage buildings, and three motor vehicle maintenance buildings. The area also contains a small arms firing range and an unoccupied 6-gun AAA site. The area has good all-weather roads connecting it with the city road net. No rail lines enter the installation (Figures 2 and 3). Lvov Army Barracks South-Southwest, at 49-49N 024-OIE, AL No- is annotated Road Service The installations are served by good weather roads. The area is not rail-served; however, good roads connect the area with the city. A probable armor vehicle storage depot (annotated as Area 111) at 49-49N 024-OOE covers approximately 20 acres. It contains seven p motor vehicle storage buildings, one administration building, two storage buildings, and two support buildings. It also is road served. Training facilities for the military units in the city are located 13' kilometers (km) nor*iwest of Lvov. Ammunition is stored seven km north of Lvov at the Lvov ammunition depot. The areas, covered by missions between are active and no significant changes have been noted since- OF INSTALLATION General Storage Areas Area El and Area E2? leach contain six storage buildings. Equipment Storage/Maintenance Areas Area J1 contains 10 motor vehicle stor- age buildings, Qour measuring 300 by 40 feet, one, 320 by 40 feet, two, 220 by 40 feet, and three 250 by 40 feet; three motor vehicle maintenance buildings, one 180 by 45 feet and two 110 by 45r1eet; six storage buildings; and Administrative and Troop Housing Areas Area DI contains ni'ae multistory barracks (Lvov Army Barracks South-Central). Area D2 contains three irregularly shaped barracks/administration buildings, three stor- buildings, and eight support buildings. Area D3 contains six multistory barracks, six single-story barracks, two storage buildings, two administration buildings, and one support building. five support buildings.
