FIXED FIELD SITE

SS R. Yelsk Launch Area No 1 is 9.3 nm to
the southeast and Launch Area No 2 is 8.7 nm
to the east-southeast. The rail yard at Yelsk
is the probable rail-to-road transfer point for
the MRBM complex and the field site. The
launch areas and the field site are connected to
Yelsk and each other by a good, probably all-
weather, road network.
