requirement whi h requested an analysis and a comparative study of the
petroleum refin ry located near Ryazan, USSR. ''.
2. Information ncerning this refinery as requested is as follows:
a. Location -,The refinery is located approximately 2 nm south
_ of,the,city of azan and 7 nm southeast of the Ryazan Dyagilevo
Airfield, adjacent to the Michurinsk-Moscow Rail line. The geographic
coordi.'nates of the refinery are 54 40N - 39 45E (See Figure 1 & 2)
b. Areal Extent - The refinery area measures approximately
8,100 by 8,300 feet. The measurements do not include the heat and
power plant nor,the possible petrochemical plant adjacent. to the
refinery. The orientation of the refinery is north northeast by

sufficient space for many more units'. New ground scars and structures have
appeared in the vicinity of the flare tower.

They should be considered as approximate and must not be taken as official
NPIC mensuration data compiled by the Technical Intrelligence Division, NPIC.
