In response to reference requirement an analysis of photographic coverage of the high frequency communications station at Phu Coc, North Vietnam was accomplished o 2. The Phu Coc High Frequency Communications Station is located at 20-51N 105-53E, 10.3 nm SSE of Hanoi and 0.8 nm east of Phu Coc. The station contains: (1) six V-beam antennas, two horizontal dipole antennas, six fishbone-type antennas; (2) a;secured control area containing one multi- wing building, two large buildings land five small buildings; and (3) a secured barracks/support area cont ining four barracks type buildings, one administration building, one messh 11, eight support buildings, and five small miscellaneous buildings. 25X1 D 25X1D 3. A search of photo photographic coverage prior tol onst uction was just underway at the barracks/ support area but there was no indi?ation of-construction activity at the noimnunications station. On coverage of construction was continuing 25X1D at the barracks/support area but there was still no indication of activity at the communications station. The next photographic coverage of the area 215X1D revealed that the communications station was.under construction and that construction at the barracks/support area was continuing. Coverage 25X1D of I revealed that the communications station-was complete, and j that the barracks/support area was nearing completion;. and subsequent 25X1D coverage accomplished in ndicated that the barracks/support area appeared to be complete. -4+. A map section showing the location of other identified radio stations in the Hanoi area is attached. (3) Hanoi International Radio Transmitting Station, Dai Mo (20-59N 105-46E) located 10.3 nm NW.
