the hilly region south of Lang Son for a distanceof

winding over a large part of this section. It appears hat
the rail bed is overgrown with vegetation and has suffered some
gree of erosion and general deterioration.
The bridge at Lang Son has been repaired for foci. traffic
and light vehicular use. Fro -s point two miles north of Lang
Son to Ping Slang the rail bed appears to be, in goof condition
and in use as a road. There is indication of grading and repair
work on the section fron bong fang to Ting Siang.
