A newly discovered high-frequency (HF)
communications facility, similar to those pre-
viously found at many Soviet MRBM/IRBM
launch areas, 1 / is situated 2 nautical miles
east-northeast of the Vaike Maarja Launch
Area of the Rakvere MRBM Complex.
The facility contains four or five hori-
zontal dipole antennas, under construction, and
a centrally located control area consisting of
a control building, a small support building, and
an unidentified object. The antennas are ori-
ented as follows
2-3 horizontal dipoles
2 horizontal dipoles
