1. The attached report is circulated for the consideration
of EDIC members. It has been prepared by CIA as a contribution
to the ERIC project "Pattern of Soviet Bloc Strategic Exports
to the West" (EDIC Case Noo 10).
2. It should be noted that, while a substantial coverage
has been obtained, reported trade statistics for 1954 (Table 3)
are incomplete as yet and will be subject to adjustment as
additional trade information becomes available.
