Approved For Release 2002/05/01 : CIA-RDP82-00357R000600080036-3 MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director for Support Jack: Regulation Ma .gem of ?3!peWaoe Personnel, is addressed precisely to that subject, the management of eupergrade personnel, and not to the management of the supergrade position.. k does not require coordination or clearance or approval by the DCI or even the Executive Director on the movement of a grade GS-15 (or lower) into a supergrade position. On the other hand, it does provide for DCI action on any personnel actions involving supergrade personnel, and this obviously would include even intra -Office or intra- Directorate movement. Since the assignment of a non-supergrade man to a superSTade position at least carries the implication that consideration for promotion to supergr'ade will sometime occur, I have suggested to D/Pers that they review the regulation with the thought that an amendment be drafted which would plug what I think is a hole In the control procedures for a supergrade. 25X1A cc: Director of Personnel Approved For Release 2002/05/01 : CIA-RDP82-00357R000600080036-3
