2. A few days after the arrival of the Chinese Communists from Malaya,
three Chinese Communists from Burma also arrived in Bangkok. A few
days afterward, despite all the efforts of the Siamese police, their
trail was lost. Around 20 February, the Siamese police succeeded in.
rediscovering their trail-which led to Paknam. However, five hours
before the arrival of the Siamese police, both the Chinese Communists
who had come from Malaya and those from Burma had left for Cochinchina
aboard a motor launch.*
