Gentlemen:
In accordance with your request of reference (c) we herewith submit our
Proposal for Overseas Support Services to cover the field service personnel
assigned to Detachment A and the factory personnel on temporary assign-
ment overseas for the period from 15 April thru 30 June 1956. As discussed
in reference (c) and shown in enclosure (1), the team will operate with
nine (9) men, one (1) Roving Field Engineer and two (2) factory engineering
personnel on temporary assignment.
The terms and conditions, as they generally apply to this program, as
presented in Contract FS?99 dated 30 November 1955 and as proposed for
amendment by reference (b) and (d) proposals are satisfactory and recom-
m mended for incorporation into contract coverage of this activity. Enclosure (1)
reflects the total estimated cost of performance of $45, 008. 00,
view of the urgency of this program and in accordance with general
instructions we are presently proceeding with this proposed program.
