Clinical observations showed that penicillin in-

suffering from infla=atory conditions, patients

healthy subjects. Expts on rabbits (measurements
of intraocular pressure') confirmed this finding.

undertaken with the purpose of generql izing the
results obtained earlier in his Joint work with

TITLEs Universal Direct-Current Percentage Bridges
PERIODICAL- lzmeritellnaya tekhnika, 1959, Nr T, pp 35-38 (USSR)
ABSTRACT- The authors discuss theoretical aspects of a universal direct-
current percentage bridge. Based on these considerations, they
describe the R-19 percentage bridge disigned and manufactured at
the plant "Vibrator". The bridge is designed for measuring resivt-
ances in the range or I ohm to I megohm and has .3 measuring ranges
of percentage error +0.25; +2.5 and +25%. The graduation value of
the indicating instrument is 0.01, 0 1 and 1% accordingly. For
routine engineering measurements, when an accuracy of 0.1-0.3% is
adequate, an ordinary resist;ince box, for example, MIS-6, may be
used in the comparison arm of the bridge. A somewhat simplified
circuit diagram of the bridge is shown in fig.2, while fig.3 shows
a photograpF. of the bridge. The ovvrtill dimensions are .110x.,300X
180mm. T',e weight is 12 1(gy. The powpr required from the network
does not exceed 59 watts. There are 2 circuit dingrams, I photo -
Card 1/1 graph and 5 references, 3 of which tire Soviet and 2 German.

TOPIC TAGS: measuring instrument, magnet
ABSTRACT: The proposed unipolar magnetoelectric device with a magnet within
its frame contains a magnetic system, suspensions, and a pointer. In order to
increase the angle of turning of the moving section, decrease overall sizes, and
simplify the design of the magnetic system of the device, the system is formed by a
ring magnetic circuit designed as a single whole with a coaxial ring and a magnet
in the form of an open ring. The coaxial ring has a olot for winding the nonoperating
side of the moving section frame. The magnet is magnetized in the radial direction
and fitted on the ring. To reduce the dimensions, a part of the length of the exten-
