ABSTRACT; Proceeding from the results of the authors' paper (Yu. M. Lomsadze,
S. S. Tokar, same source, v. lls no. 4, 1966), formulas of the asymptotic add of
the partial wave amplitude aA(I, a) as s - - for scattering by the "physical"
potentials of type Xidtlo(P) are obtained. The dependence of the location
Zlead(O) of the "lea;ing" Regge trajectory on the degree of singularity of the
potential at zero is also obtained. The mnximum strong interaction corresponding
to Ilead(o) = I turns out to be nonacblevable though any close approach to it is
possible. An analytical continuation into the complex n-plane is carried out for
the coefficient function un(J, a) coinciding in the case of n = 0, 1, 2,... with

For the case of "renormaliiable" theories a connection is established between the

ABSTRACT: The analytical properties of a partial amplitude with respect to the
coupling constant g are discussed. In potential scattering the amplitude with
respect to g is made up only of poles or stationary branching points; in the field
theory moving branch points appear, whose position depends on energy and angular

fact that, with loads as great as 7,000 kg/cm , there
is no change in the degree of dispersion of the tested
clay samples. Parallel studies of thin sections showed
that, as a consequence of the great compressive force,
the clays developed in oriented microtexture; they

indexes of the properties of clay rocks may serve visually as
indicators of the degree of their lithification.

ABSTRACT Argillaceous rocks, dispersion systems have the capacity ofestablishing un-
der the influence of molecular and electrostatic (ion) power bindings bet-
ween their single forming particle* or aggregates. These bindings, formerly cal-
led structural, result on the occasion of the sedimentation of areillaceous
deposits and consilidate gradually with the transformation of the latter in-
to argillaceous rocks and their lithification. Corresponding to the stage of
development and the stability of the structural connection argillaceous rocks
can have an intermediate position between quickly and slowly relaxating li-
quid or vi8cous and plastic substances onthe one hand, and the ideal-elastic
practically not relaxating solid substances on the other hand. Since viscosi-
ty, plasticity, compactnesup and elsticity of the argillaceous rocks are chief-
ly determined by the structural bindings, P.A.Rehbinder calls them structural-
mechanical. The results of the work carried out by the author show that the for
mation of the properties of the argillaceous rocks is connected with the hi-
story of their formation as well as with their later transformations in the
crust of the earth. Under different conditions, however, they lose these proper-
Card 1/3 ties and acquire other characteristic features and properties. The following

natural genealogy of the argillaceous rocks is found: argillace-;.~B clAya are
the least lithificated. They form the primary material on the bottom of tne
seas, lakes etc. The great variety of argillaceous rocki of subaqueous origin
is due to this material. The long geological process of their transformation
begins with clays. First the quantity of the free water surpasses that of the
bound water. The state is mostly latently or openly liquid. Solidity is low.
After a mechanical destruction the bindings can be re-43stablished (tixotropic
transformation). The second group consists of mostly soft and only to a small
extent consolidated differentiations of argillaceous rocks. The third group
consists of consolidated quaternary or older differentiations of argillace-
ous rocks. Rocks of a high degree of lithification belong, to the fourth group
The elimination of genetic defferentiations is difficult, since they are con-
siderably changed. The fifth group is formed by rocks similar to these of the
fourth group, but of an extreme degree of Ithification. They are semi-rocks
and form a transition from the sedimentarybD the metamorphic ,ocks. In the
case of tensions which exceed the proportionality limit of their deformation
they break or burst. The deformations iet irreversible. Their resistance to
compression amounts to loo kg per I cm . In the bowels of the earth int he ran
ge of increased temperatures and pressures the phenomena of creeping are cha-
racteristic which are manifested by the slow deformation of their mineral
components i.e. by recrystallization.

AB3TRACT: Charts of cycles of operations were introduced at the Chorukh-
Dayron (the Tadzhik SSR) ore deposit 'to increase the oper--
ating efficiency and improve the organization of works in
the stoping blocks. One cycle comprises the totality of
mining operations executed in a set order during the mining
of the ore over the whole lenath of the block,, The author
describes the distribution of duties in the rorking bri-
gades, and the consecutive order of works according to the
chart in different characteristic blocks of the deposit.
The introduction of charts considerably improved the re-
BUltB in every category of mining operations, The type
of ore mined is not mentioned. There are 2 diagrams, 2
