Abstract .1 .-The characteristics of various gag comparison-electrodes, used for the
measurement oteryolite-alumina fusions, are analyzed..L The.oxygen-
carbon electrode is considered to be the most stable comparison elec-
trode and because of.its high accuracy is best recommended for measure-
ments of cryolite-alumina.fusion8. Means of securing.composition con-
stancy' of the gaseous mixture surrounding the comparison.electrod,e and
to prevent.anode gases from falling into the gas mixture, are de,scrib-

ABSTRACTi In the present paper the mutual solubility of the sulf-d~y
of iron, nickel and colalf- in liquid and solid state as W~.11
as the change of the annealing temperature of the alloy, -'f

single components.. the phase composition and the strurTuTe
of the alloys in individual fields of crystallization in
connection with temperature and the content of sulfide
components is investigated.
