changes in cancer of the cervix uteri dSL. GYNAEK, 1953, 18/5 (434.,451) Tablets I
The cellular changes are divided into 4 groups: (1) normal, (2) benign, (3) rmpicious,
(4) malignant. All cellular changes are compared with the taginal flora because in,.
flamationj especially that caused by trichomonae, may cause suspicious and malignant
cellular changes* Therefore group II and III are divided into 2 subgroups which do
not differ morphologically., but do differ essentially in their microbial picture. In
these groups a cytological re-examination is reoouzanded after the infla=Ation has
been treated. It in not necessary to divide the vialignant changes into 2 groups so-
cording to the quantity of the malignant calls as it is not the quantity of malignant
cons that is Important, but only the fact that they are present at an. Cases Of
group IV must be chocked up by a biopsy. I?pr exadnation of the smears the method of
Passini (smears taken from the suspect6d. site at colposcopy) in recommendod.

I~ypoglycaemic states after meals rzy be caused by a quick absorption of carbo-
hydrates fron, the bowel without previous dilution in the stomach. Me su-bsraquent
I*rporglycaemia causec the production of relatively too mich inaulin. A lr,~Tcrvens-
itivity of the anteroreceptors for a high but not yet abnormal concontration of glu-
cose in the blood or even in the bowel may be a cause. They :.W, be un:onditioned
or conditioned reflexes stim-LIating the islands of the pancreas to an acute over-
production of insulin. The neuroregulation during lrjTer- and hypoglycaemias W. be
influenced in such a riwner as to cause '%,his syndrome. . Perhips only the- mchanical
dilatation of the upper part of the jejunun may cause the syndrone (dumping s~n-
