prepared in an
improved laboratory installation of continuous action
using the reaction of CHC12 with CA ONa. The hiG4i
yield (61% in reference to Na) is secured by a
mininum
contact of absolute alcohol with the atmspheric mois-
ture and by the elimination of the action of metallic
Na on the produced I.
