TEXT- A "4-stroke, 4-cylinder-in-Une diesel engine is described having the following characteristics: rot-
ational speed = 1500 rpm, N, = 60 hp; specific fuel consumption Y, = 175 g/l.hr; SID = 130/120 mm;
compression ratio e = 16.4 and mixture formation by jet injection. The non split-type tore-shape combustion
chamber is located in the central part of the piston bottom. The fuel pump of the "Motornaya" type is equipped
with four plunger pistons and an all-duty mechanical regulator. There are 7 figures.

Microscopic investigation of 77 specimens revealed the presence of xanthomatous
salpingitis in 18 cases. In 16 of these cases xanthomatosis was associated with
previous tubal suppurations, in one case with a hydrosalpiny and in another with
tuberculous salpingitis. In agreement with most authors, the xanthomatous cells
are interpreted as Upophagie elements over-loaded with lipo[d drops. The term
'xanthomatous salpingitis' fitiould not be maintained, ati the lesion is not an indepen-
dent anatomical and clinical entity but a mere transition stage in the course of
suppurative salpingitis.

excess of Pb2+ . while using a portion of the fil-

approx. 6 mm diameter and 2-2-5 cm in height is
employed for the purpose* A92CO3 is obtained by
treating AgNO3 solution with sodium carbonate with
