"Gipro- spirtvino" has elaborated norms for technological planning of malt houses and breweries. These norms comprise rating cha- racteristics for the calculation of air conditioning, of average amount of heat, moisture and carbon dioxide develop- ing in the process of malting, etc. For air conditioning the basic rating characteristics ares temperature of air applied to green malt +120C; relative moisture 90; temperature of air after being applied to green malt +160C; relative moisture ' 85%. The article presents formulae for the calculation of the amounts of heat, carbon dioxide and moisture developed during malting. Heat development can be determined on the basis of 1 ss of dry substances, is shown in the table giving the re- sults of 8 days germination of g-reen.malt. The article pre- sents also formulae fort maximum development of caz:bon dioxide Card 1/2 for groups of malting boxes, maximum separation of moisture Calculation of Air Conditioning Systems for Malting SOV166-59-1-12132 during malting process and maximum quantity of moisture ex- tracted on the Sth day of malt drying. Tho foam rubber wn-r prepared from a butadrene-stvrene CKC-SDfff- (SM-50 ?G) latex, a butsdrene-nitrile CK14-1.0 (SKN-10) latex and a polychloroprone il-HL-7) latex. The pr6duct obtained from SICS- 50 PG lstex hns mochnnical properties similar to those of a natural latex, but has a strong odor due to the presence of free styrene. jFoam rubber made from nitrile latex is odorless and inert to bon- iene. TITLE: Production of foam rubber articles from ititex using aqueous rubber dispersions PERIODICAL; Kauchuk i rezina, no& 8, 1962, 14 16 TEXT: A method has been developed for the production of foam rubber articles with partial replacement of the latex by.aqueous dispersions of old rubber or waste products from foam rubber production. The technique of old rubber dispersion .was developed at the ' HIMIU11 (NT-TShP). whereby the aqueous dispersion of the rub- ber is a polydispersed colloidal system. Dispersions prepared with colophony as the disperser and 3% aqueous solution of NaOH, as the soaping agent, were used in developing the produ6tion method of the latex mix for the foam rubber articles. The latex mix of the foam rubber, based an "revertex-standard" and CKC -50ar (SKS-50PO) latex, using various types of aqueous rubber dispersions, 6ontained potassium paraffinate, vasellne oil or its emulsion, as the foaming agent, or Card 1/2 S/138/62/000/008/005/007 Production of foam rubber artialts from.s. A051/A126 dispersion of vulcanized substances (sulfur, diphenylguanidine, oymate, zinc mercaptobenzothiazol, zinc oxide). The quantity of vulcanizing agents in the mixes was calculated adoording to the rubber substance of the latex. They also contained a gelatinizing solution (10'-'20% solution of ammonium chloride, 10% solution of ammonia and triethanolAmine).q.,..The qbtained articles met the commer- 66. The latter retain their color when using dispersions produced from foam rubber Waste produots. It Is concluded that by replacing 20 - 30% of the synthetic and natural latex with aqueous disper- sions of rubber, the quality of the foam rubber produced by the foaming method, does not drop. According to preliminary calculations, the use of aqueous dis- persions of rubber in the production of foam rubber articles should offer con- siderable technical and economic advantages. A direct rpm controller for law- power gas turbine engines. The unit contains an actuating mechanism made in the form of a nozzle which interacts with a flat valve located in the arm of a balanced spring- loaded centrifugal weight mounted on the cross connection of the power shaft. Con- struction is simplified and friction is reduced by locating the nozzle and the fuel channel in the power*ehaft. 2.
