Title The Effecti7teness of Granulated Superphosphate, Accor-
ding to Field Experiments. Part 11. Winter Grain Crops
Orig Pub Roczn. nauk rolniczych, 1956.,.A73, No 4, 435-472
Abstract In 1952-1954, 112 experiments, condLcted by the Institute
of Agricultural Engineering and Soil Science, under farm
conditions, weve generalized.according to a &iagram:
(1) NK; (2) NK plus 30 kg Of P205 and ordinary P hapha-
zardly; (3) same as (2) but,using P in granulatk form;
(4) NK plus 8 kg of P20 P a:pplied In rows with the seeds.
On the average, in 59 e;~Seriments with winter wheat, the
following crops in c/ha were obtained, according to the
variants: 1, 21.6; 2, 22.9; 3, 23.2, and 4, 23.6.
Accuracy of the experiments amounted to 0.69 c/ha, with

P equalling 0-05. One kg of Ps provided the following
grain additions In c/ha, according to the variants: 2,
4.3; 3, 5.0;,4, 25.0. On the average, in 53 experiments
with winter rye, the following crops in c/ha were obtai,-
ned, according to the variants: 1, 18.2; 2, 19.3; 3, 19.7;
4, 19.6. Accuracy of the experiments amounted to 0.50
c/ha. ..One kg of Ps provided the following grain addi-
tions: 2, 3.7; 3) 5.0, and 4, 25-0- In 24 experiments,
additional study was made for the granulated ammoniated
P ; the average addition turned out to be the same as
for non-ammoniated Ps. On.the averagej in 8 experiments,
conducted in experimental stations according to an enlar-
ged diagram, at the introduction of 8 kg of P204 in
rows, the following additions were obtained: by using
ordinary P., 0.9 c/ha;, nulated, 0.7; and organic-mine-
ral granulated., 0.7-0. ~~Ija. The P. effectiveness was
demonstrated mathematically to be conclusive only in 48

out of a total amount of 112 experiments; for these ex-
perinients, on the average, the following wheat and rye
crops were obtained, encording to the variants: 1,
19.2; 2, 20.9; 3, 21.8 and 4; 22-3 - that is, in soils,
needing phosphorus, the advantage of granulated P. was
