TITLE: Dies for Trimming Angle Steel, Bending Channel
Steel, and Making Lids.

ABSTRACT; The article gives an illustrated description of dies
for the purposes indicated in the title, and used
at the Dmitrovskiy ekskavatornyy zavod ~Dmitrovew-!.y
Excavator Plant). The first mentioned die
(Figure 1) has replaced gas-cutting for cutting
out pieces of angle bars as is required for joints
in steel structures. It is used in a 70-ton cam
press,, The bending die for channel steel (Figure
3) has mechanized the former manual bending process which
required heating and gave uneven surfaces on channels.
The present process takes 10 hours. i.e,, 4 times less

than before. The die for lids (FiJG
ures 4,6) performs
extrusion., punching of holes and outer trimming and is
used in a 160-ton hydraulic press producing 550-600
Card 1/1 lids in one shift. There are 6 sets of diagrams.

were found resistant to sulftdin and disulfane. The sensitivity
was determined of 731 cultures to different concentrations Of

to 0.2 mg %, and 73.7% to 0.1. me % of syntowein.

Filterable as well an normal forms of typhoid bacilli were found in the
bioQd of 33% of all typhoid patients studied. Half of 'Une filterable
forms reverted to normal initial strains. When only filterable forM3
were present the disease was mild. In most cases diagnosis of typhoid
axed isolation of filterable forms occurred together. Further study of

TEXT: The authors present extensive material of facts established by them
49 well as published data characterizing the Mo and W distribution in
magmatic rocks. The Mo : W ratio varies between 0.2 and 0.5 in different
types of rock. A study of the distribution of these elements in
genetizally connected series of intrusive rocks showed an accumulation of
W in the later border differentiation productp (alaskites), with monotonic
Mo content and a low increase of its content in basic rocks. Mo separates
from W at the stage of formation of quartz diorites (granodiorites).
Analytical data of the monomineral fractions show that the principal mass
of the two elements is bound to feldsparu and quartzi with Mo primarily
accumulating in plagioalase. The localization of Mo and W in leucocratic

minerals is explained by peculiarities of the electronic shells requiring
a 6-ooordination in the form of a trigDnal prism (which can be observed on
plagioclase). This leads to an isomor- 2+
phouB substitutioft of Ca . In the
autometamorphism of granites, the substitution of plagioclase by muscovite
is due to de-anorthositation processes. Ca and W are set free and form
small scheelite deposits, primarily in the antielinal sections of granite
massifs. W simultaneously accumulates at the pegmatite stage, and its con-
tent in quartz veins decreases. The Mc, content in products of postmagmatic
processes changes'slightly, and increases inconsiderably in the quartz
